Curious Inspiration. Certain music can really only be listened to in the geography that gave birth to it. Driving through Berkeley yesterday after spending time at Amoeba Records, I found myself humming this song even though it had not been playing anywhere. Nothing says Hippies, Summer of Love, innocence and that certain something that only San Francisco can imbue better than Scott Mackenzie’s classic “San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair).” Enjoy.
